Hi!
If a player owned bank loans money , then the bank gets the money back, and it can presumably be picked up and transfer to a player. But where does the money the bank loaned come from? When a bank doubles investors capital, does that money appear on the board?
Sorry for the delays answering this.

Anyway, the specific answers are:
Q: If a player owned bank loans money , then the bank gets the money back, and it can presumably be picked up and transfer to a player. But where does the money the bank loaned come from?
A: Per 8.42, A bank loans money using treasury funds.
When the bank gets the money back, it appears at the bank location and can be picked up and transferred to the owner.

Q: When a bank doubles investors capital, does that money appear on the board?
A: Per 8.2, players receive investor's capital directly.  This includes if it has been increased by a bank ownership.
